Creating a Clutch

Create a Clutch by choosing the parents and recording the egg count and lay date.

Creating a Clutch starts a new record for a single clutch.

Create a Clutch

  1. Open Clutch in the bottom navigation.
  2. Select Add Clutch.
  3. Choose the applicable Species and parents.
  4. Enter the Egg Count and Lay Date.
  5. Review the expected hatch information.
  6. Save the Clutch.

When you save, HerpClutch generates a Clutch ID and uses the Lay Date with the configured incubation period to calculate an Expected Hatch Date and Hatch Window.

These hatch values are planning estimates based on the information you record. Actual hatch timing may vary.
