Delete Your HerpClutch Account
You can delete your HerpClutch account in the HerpClutch mobile app. If you can't use the app, you can ask HerpClutch Support to delete it instead — you don't need to reinstall HerpClutch.
HerpClutch is published and operated by OCG EBAYONG LLC. Designed by EXOTIC MUTATION REPTILES.
Delete your account in the HerpClutch app
If you can still open HerpClutch, you can delete your account there:
- Open HerpClutch on your phone. Deleting an account needs an Internet connection.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap your account card at the top of Settings, or the Profile icon at the top of the screen, to open Account Profile.
- Under DANGER ZONE, tap Delete Account.
- Read what will be deleted, then type DELETE in the Type DELETE to confirm box.
- Under Confirm it is you, confirm with the sign-in method your account uses: Confirm with Apple, Confirm with Google, or your password.
- Tap Delete Account Permanently. To confirm, tap Delete Permanently.
When it's done, HerpClutch shows “Your account has been deleted.” If your device is offline, HerpClutch tells you and nothing is deleted.
Deleting your account is permanent. Once it's done, it can't be undone.
What deleting your account in the app removes
- If you sign in with Apple, HerpClutch first withdraws its access to your Apple ID. If it can't, your account isn't deleted.
- Your HerpClutch account is permanently deleted, and you're signed out.
- On that device, the HerpClutch records stored for your account are deleted, including your Herps, Clutches and the photos and labels HerpClutch manages for them, the safety copies made before restoring a backup, and your scheduled reminders. If something can't be removed straight away, HerpClutch finishes the cleanup the next time it opens.
- If you sign in with Google, you're signed out, but HerpClutch's access isn't removed from your Google Account. You can remove it in your Google Account settings.
Can't access HerpClutch?
If you no longer have the app or your phone, can't sign in, or can't get past email verification, you can ask HerpClutch Support to delete your account. You don't need to reinstall HerpClutch, and the website itself can't delete accounts.
This opens HerpClutch Support, which explains how to send an account deletion request. You can also email support@herpclutch.com directly.
- Include the email address you use to sign in to HerpClutch.
- We may need to verify account ownership before processing a deletion request.
- When Support deletes your account, your HerpClutch sign-in account is deleted. If you used Sign in with Apple or Google, you can also remove HerpClutch's access in your Apple ID or Google Account settings.
- Your HerpClutch records are stored on your devices, not on HerpClutch servers, so Support can't reach them. To remove them, remove the HerpClutch app from each device.
Please don't include your password, any sign-in or verification code, your account ID, backup files or payment information.
What isn't deleted
Deleting your account, in the app or through Support, doesn't delete:
- records stored on your other devices — remove the HerpClutch app from those devices to remove them;
- backup files, labels and other files you saved or shared from HerpClutch — they stay wherever you put them, and HerpClutch can't reach them;
- backup and label files still in the app's temporary storage, until your device clears that storage;
- settings that apply to the whole device, such as printer settings; or
- copies in your device or platform backups, for example in your Google or Apple account, depending on your settings.
HerpClutch keeps your account until you delete it and doesn't store your records on its servers. To keep a copy of your records, create a backup before you delete your account, where your app allows it.
