Each Clutch has a Clutch ID that gives the record a unique reference.
How Clutch IDs work
- The Clutch ID is generated automatically when you create a Clutch.
- A Species/code and the year may contribute to the generated identifier.
- Sequence numbering is managed by the app.
Example
A Clutch ID may look like this:
CBP26-0001
This is only an example. The generated identifier depends on the Species and year, so it is not the same prefix for every Clutch.
