Recording Hatch Results

Update a Clutch after hatching to record the outcome.

When a Clutch hatches, you can update its record to capture the outcome.

Record the outcome

  1. Open the Clutch.
  2. On Clutch Details, select Mark Hatched (or Mark Failed).
  3. Record the available hatch details.
  4. Select Complete Clutch (or Mark Failed).

Depending on your version of the app, hatch details may include information such as the actual hatch date, the number hatched, the number failed, notes, and a photo. Recording the outcome can also update the Clutch Status.

Record only the fields your app shows. HerpClutch does not calculate genetics outcomes, offspring inventory, sales, or health scoring.
